Blessings and greetings to all of you as we say welcome to 2016!
 
As we begin to plan outreach to new areas, we remember these words from Proverbs 16: 3 – “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
 
new yearSo as we strive to commit ourselves daily to God’s will, we ask one main commitment of you – that you pray daily and diligently. Pray for wisdom as we plan to reach new areas of our community. Pray in advance for those people we will meet, that the Lord would begin to prepare their hearts to receive His word. Pray about ways you can support our ministry through your participation and finances. We firmly believe that earnest prayer will help each of us see the Lord’s path more clearly and remove any obstacles that would hinder our walk.
 
Looking back at 2015, we did four Easter egg hunts. Our plan for 2016 is to double that number. We also plan to have even more block parties to reach even more lives with Christ’s love. As the weeks progress, we will update our plans for even more ministry and fellowship opportunities.
 
We are thankful for God’s blessings in 2015, but we are not content to linger in the past. We are excited to take those blessings and move forward with our ministry in 2016. “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3: 12-14)
