Leadership
It starts with a dream…
Several years ago, I dreamed that I was in a large house, and many people were there. The house had several different rooms. In the dream, I went from room to room to minister to the people. I had the dream at least 2 times, so I believe it was of God. I had the dreams while I was the pastor of Swan Lake Chapel, which is in a large mobile home community. Even after I left there, the dream remained…
We purchased a 1969 trailer in December 2011 by faith, not really knowing how we would get it functional enough for use, or who would staff the mission.
We started praying, and by God’s grace, with the help of many workers, by December 2012 it was functional, but far from perfect.
While building, we had 3 major events for the community: an Easter egg hunt, a fall festival, (done with Life Church), and a Christmas play. All 3 events were well attended. The Sunday after the play we began meeting on Sunday night.
We continue to minister there, we also started a Monday Night community Dinner and Bible Study at Willow Way Apartments.
Then we started doing Easter Egg Hunts in several communities.
What’s next?
More events, more people reached in the communities….
But we need your help.
Call Me.
May God bless you in every way!
Thank You,
Pastor George Nix
