“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”
It seems 2020 is a year of waiting.
We have had to wait, while sheltering in place, to be able to eat in a restaurant, attend sporting events and go to the movie theater, just to name a few.
We have also been waiting for the end of the of the Corona Virus.
Sometimes it can be discouraging.
The psalmist nearly lost heart, but he believed that he “would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.”
Then the psalmist urges us to wait on the LORD:
“Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”
Community Church Ministry is waiting on the LORD as well… We also have been waiting to start back doing the community dinners.
We are prayerfully considering doing to go Thanksgiving meals in November at several locations.
Meanwhile, we have been delivering dry good groceries to 3 locations every month. This was made possible by your generous donations.
So let’s keep waiting on the LORD.
Pray with us for an end to the Corona Virus, but that many will come to know the LORD. Also, please pray for Community Church Ministry that we will have the discernment to know when to do the meals, and for our health and safety.
Last, pray about partnering with us to reach your neighborhood.
