June has finally arrived and though the calendar doesn’t show summer coming for a few more days, for all practical purposes it’s here – which means Community Church Ministry has even more opportunity for outside events for outreach in our neighborhoods. At these events we play uplifting music, serve delicious food and share inspiration from God’s Word.
We are excited to be able to hang out with some great people. Here’s the schedule for June:
1. Thursday, June 1 – Darlington MHP
2. Thursday, June 8 – Dutch Gardens MHP
3. Monday, June 12 – Willow Way Apartments
4. Thursday, June 15 – Pine Village MHP
5. Monday, June 19 – Callier Forest Apartments
6. Thursday, June 22 – Dutch Gardens MHP
We also looking farther ahead on the calendar to July, when – Lord willing – we will host seven back-to-school events where we will give out basic school supplies.
As always, we ask that you pray for these events, that people’s hearts and minds would be touched by the Lord. And come help us as we spread God’s love! Your love and support are always welcomed and needed.
Blessings to all!

May Community Church Ministry Newsletter.
It is always wonderful to start our message to everyone with reports of success – so let’s start this newsletter with that kind of report.
Done! Nine Easter egg hunts! Each one was a success. God gave us great weather, and each one was very well attended. Most importantly, several of those in attendance prayed to know Jesus as their personal Savior. (A big thank you to those of you who prayed, helped, and attended!)
The next step is a series of follow up events for these areas. On Thursdayevenings we rotate among three locations. The first Thursday is Darlington MHP. The second and fourth Thursdays is Dutch Gardens MHP and the third Thursday is Pine Village MHP. We hope to do pizza parties as our follow-up for these communities. We will gauge the feedback we get for further activities and opportunities for ministry to the people there.
In other news, it seems like a long time from now, but we are already planning for our back-to-school clothing and school supplies giveaway in July. More news to follow on this as we get closer to that time.
We would never be able to be the hands and feet of Jesus without you. Most importantly, we need your prayers – that God would continue to open doors, provide resources and people to help and to change the lives of those we seek to touch through this ministry. Please prayerfully consider how you can be a part of this important work with your time and resources.
As always, we pray that God will bless you richly.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor George Nix

If it seems like people are going to be doing a lot of egg hunting – they are! And that means we need help with donations of candy, hot dogs, buns and small gift cards for the prize drawing we do for the adults.
Most of all, we really NEED YOU! We really, really need you. Please contact me and let me know which of the dates above that you or your group can help with. We also need a lot of prayer for God to prepare and open the hearts and minds of those who come and we need prayer for no rain!
Thank you for your support – and many blessings for you and your loved ones!
