For an end of the Corona Virus. For salvation of the lost. Community Church Ministry has been providing groceries to folks in our community. (Your generous donations made this possible.)We plan to continue this a little while longer. We are praying about starting back our community dinners in the next few weeks. Please keep praying for our ministry as well! God bless you.
“The LORD on high is mightier Than the noise of many waters, Than the mighty waves of the sea.”
Psalms 93:4
Have you ever stood near a mighty rushing river or a majestic waterfall? On a beach vacation, did you fall asleep with the window open, listening to the waves crashing into the shore?
Last March, my wife and I went to beautiful Helen GA for our anniversary. We stood at the banks of the Chattahoochee River, watching the mighty flow of the water. I told my wife that if nothing else happens this weekend, it was worth it all to experience this mighty display of God’s power.
Sometimes, waters will overflow their banks, causing a flood…
Psalm 93 starts out in the throne room of God. “The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The LORD is clothed, He has girded Himself with strength. Surely the world is established, so that it cannot be moved.”
Psalms 93:1
Then, the floods came…
“The floods have lifted up, O LORD, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves.”
Psalms 93:3
Sometimes we can be overwhelmed by the floods of life: fear, anxiety, worry…
The psalmist reminds us that God is mightier than ANY flood that comes our way. Strengthen your faith in this.
“The LORD on high is mightier Than the noise of many waters, Than the mighty waves of the sea.”
I have forgotten what normal is… Things we took for granted: working, going to the grocery store, dining in a restaurant, going to school… gathering for church and ministry events… all have been affected by the Covid crisis. But, God is still in control. God wants us to pray, and seek His face… Pray for our land,.. For an end to the Covid crisis, healing, and for folks to draw near to God in saving faith… CCM did not get to do Easter egg hunts/ cookouts in April. As some of the restrictions are being lifted, we are cautiously, prayerfully waiting. We are not rushing back into the communities, and potentially endangering folks. However, CCM has been delivering non perishable groceries to some of the people in the community who need them. We will continue to do this indefinitely. Your generous donations have made, and are making this possible. Please continue to pray for our ministry, and for our land. God bless you!
