November Community Church Ministry Newsletter 2025

November Community Church Ministry Newsletter

What is it about the beginning of November that puts us in a rush? We look forward to Thanksgiving, but in the back of our minds, we are already thinking about the Christmas season. (Maybe it’s because we are already seeing Black Friday commercials!)
Too easily we hit the ground running, without a plan. If we make plans, we tend to forget to ask the Lord for wisdom and guidance.
James warns us:
“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”
‭‭James‬ ‭4:13-15‬ ‭

Community Church Ministry is prayerfully planning 5 Thanksgiving dinners in November. Also, prayerfully planning Christmas events in 12 communities.

We all have so much to be thankful for!
Please continue to pray for Community Church Ministry, for God to guide the scheduling, for the Lord to open doors for us, for hearts to be receptive, for resources, for volunteers, and for good weather.
Our desire is to expand into other communities. Please pray about networking with us to reach your neighborhood.

Here’s the November schedule, LORD willing!

Monday November 10th
@ 6:30: Callier Forest Apartments

Saturday November 15th
@ 12 noon: Pine Village MHP
@ 1 pm Dutch Gardens MHP
@ 2:30 Darlington MHP

Monday November 17th

God bless you!

September Community Church Ministry Newsletter

Way back in 2014, we were ministering in two neighborhoods, Berrywood Apartments and Dutch Gardens MHP.
A lot has happened since then. God has allowed us to go to more than 12 neighborhoods!
We are very thankful to God for the success He has given us over the years.
But we are not resting on our laurels. There are so many places we need to go to.
CCM would love for you to come with us. We are looking for groups and individuals to help us in existing neighborhoods and go into new territories.
* Please pray that more volunteers will answer the call and for resources.
* We are also in the process of paying for hoodies for our Christmas outreach. Any help is appreciated!

Here’s the September schedule, Lord willing. (We start at 6:30.)
Darlington MHP Thursday the 4th
Callier Forest on Monday the 8th
Dutch Gardens on Thursday, the 11th.
Ashland Park Apts, Monday the 15th
Pine Village on Thursday the 18th

We are so grateful for your continued support! May God bless you!

August Community Church Ministry Newsletter 2025

August Community Church Ministry Newsletter

My heart is filled with gratitude to God as I write these words to you.

Here’s why:

1. God enabled us to do 13 back-to-school events in the communities, and helped with one at New Hope Chapel Baptist Church.

2. The Lord held the rain back so we could do the events. It rained in Rome last Thursday, but not in Rockmart!

3. We are thankful for 35 total churches, Tim Smith and the Floyd County Baptist Association, Ken Wilder’s ministry, and others for donating backpacks and school supplies.

4. God supplied plenty of help.

5. Seeds were planted, of which we are praying to spring up to eternal life.

We all have so much to be thankful for!

Please continue to pray for Community Church Ministry, for God would guide the scheduling, for the Lord would open doors for us, hearts to be receptive, resources, volunteers, and good weather.

We desire to expand into other communities. Please pray about networking with us to reach your neighborhood.

Here’s our schedule, LORD willing. (6:30 each night.)

Darlington MHP-  Thursday, August 7.

Callier Forest Apartments- Monday, August 11.

Dutch Gardens MHP- Thursday, August 14.
