Scripture For The Heart of A Small Group Leader.<\/p>\n

All types of people can be successful small group leaders. We sometimes believe that it takes a special kind of person to be a leader or a great Bible Theologian to be able to lead a small group. The most important thing to remember is that God is more concerned with our heart\u00a0<\/i>than our ability<\/em>. \u00a0We so often hear that God does not call the qualified but qualifies the called. So who can lead a small group Bible study? \u00a0Good News, You do not have to be perfect in order to lead a small group. What is important is that you are continuing to grow in spiritual maturity and that your heart is continually seeking after God. God\u2019s Word helps us understand some of the traits that should be present in the life of any spiritual leader.<\/p>\n

Hebrews 10:24-25<\/h3>\n

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

1 Thessalonians 5:11<\/h3>\n

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Matthew 18:20<\/h3>\n

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Proverbs 27:17<\/h3>\n

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
